25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand
3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
2Fulfil you my joy, that you be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
ONE = H259 (from Strong’s Hebrew & Greek Dictionaries)
Properly united, that is, one; or (as an ordinal) first: - a, alike, alone, altogether, and, any (-thing), apiece, a certain [dai-] ly, each (one), + eleven, every, few, first, + highway, a man, once, one, only, other, some, together.
ACCORD = G3661 (from Strong’s Hebrew & Greek Dictionaries)
Adverb from a compound of the base of G3674 and G2372; unanimously: - with one accord (mind).
We need to be ‘on the same page’. We all need to be in ONE MIND and ONE ACCORD. God can not bless the church if we are in divided. Simple as that. The church will fall.
I did a search on “one accord” and came up with 14 verses. It MUST be important to God if it was mentioned this much.
Take a look for yourself:
Jos 9:2 That they gathered themselves together… with one accord.
Act 1:14 These all continued with one accord
Act 2:1 … they were all with one accord
Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord
Act 4:24 … they lifted up their voice to God with one accord
Act 5:12 …and they were all with one accord
Act 7:57 …and ran upon him with one accord
Act 8:6 And the people with one accord…
Act 15:25 …being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you
Act 19:29 …they rushed with one accord
Php 2:2 …being of one accord, of one mind
There should not be division in a church.
Simple as that.
