And He said unto them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" - Mark 16:15

Monday’s Life In Him - Justified In Christ

Happy Monday Everyone!

Who wants to join in “Monday's Life In Him”?

It’s easy…
Just grab this button below & post it somewhere either on your blog post or on your main page.

Then…

Write a post about HIM (Jesus)

Sometimes I just post a verse,
sometimes I share a short story
or sometimes I write a short study.
Either way… Let’s spread His Word and His Love!

Here is what I have for today:

Imagine two chairs sitting across from one another.

One one side you have the seat of "Condemnation". On the other side you have the seat of "Justification".  IN the middle between these two chairs is THE CROSS OF CHRIST. To get from the seat of "Condemnation" to the seat of "Justification"... the person needs to go through the Cross of Christ!!

Condemnation is not a feeling. Condemnation is our standing, our position. It is a sentence. Condemned  = GUILTY!

Justification is not a feeling.  Justification is our standing, our position. Justification is a sentence. Justified = INNOCENT!

Notice I did not use the words, “not guilty”. Justification is better than “not guilty” – If you are Justified, you are  INNOCENT. If you are IN CHRIST then you are JUSTIFIED, INNOCENT.

A criminal can be guilty of his crime, but in court be found “not guilty” even though he is indeed guilty of his crime. The blood of Jesus and what He did on the cross makes us better than “not guilty” – it makes us INNOCENT of all charges!! We are JUSTIFIED!!

Gal. 2:16

16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Romans 8:1 says,

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit"

IN CHRIST!

Are you IN CHRIST?

Eph. 2:13

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Phil. 1:26

26That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

IN Christ”

The word “IN” =

G1722 (taken from Strong’s Hebrew & Greek Dictionary)
ἐν
en
A primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state)

This relates right back to JUSTIFIED IN CHRIST!

Your POSITION is IN CHRIST.

Your POSITION is JUSTIFIED.

If you are IN CHRIST, you are JUSTIFIED.

INNOCENT!!

Set free!

Made whole!

Made whole IN CHRIST!

Praise God!

Monday’s Life In Him–Hope

Happy Monday Everyone!

Here is what I have for today:

More random thoughts…

If you are a reader here, you know that I have been standing some trials lately… and I thank GOD for my friends that have kept me going. I sometimes feel at the very end of my rope until I open my email and get an encouraging message from you readers.

I thank you all for that.

Today I am going to share a few of these encouraging messages from the last few days that have really helped me.

This morning I read from Katie @ On The Banks of Squaw Creek said,

“Things don't always turn out the way WE think they are supposed to, but God has a plan for us, right?”

RIGHT. And I keep telling myself this. Maybe the house that ***WE*** really wanted was not as perfect as ***WE*** thought it would be. I don’t know how that is possible, but God does. I will trust that God has a better plan for us.

Jazmin from Happily Ever After told me to rebuke the devil from my home… WHY didn’t I think of this?!? Most of the time I am aware of this, but I have been so overwhelmed lately – it just slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder that,

greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world

And then there is my bloggy friend Janet from Homeward Bound… I can’t say enough good things about Janet. She has really helped me lately. She is full of wisdom that I hope to have one day. Her emails I have kept in my inbox and I open her emails numerous times throughout the day to read the verses she has sent me. She even wrote about me here and titled it “Hope”. She used Romans 5:3,

Rejoice in your suffering, suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character, and character hope

Here are some other verses Janet has sent me over the past week:

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Psalm 35:27-28
Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication;
And let them say continually, "The LORD be magnified,
Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."
And my tongue shall declare Your righteousness
And Your praise all day long.

Psalm 5:12
For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Psalm 84:8-12

8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah.
9Behold our shield, O God,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
         The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
12O LORD of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

And probably more of what I need to hear:

1 Tim 6:17
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

3 John 2
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

These are important for me to realize that as long as I have my family, our health, a roof over our head and food on the table… we are beyond blessed!

Thank you Janet. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You have helped me more than you know this past week.

And thanks to all others who have sent me encouragement this past week. You know who you are and I appreciate you all!

Much Love,

“Monday’s Life In Him”–Believe Him or Doubt Him?

Here is what I have for today:

Faith and Wisdom

2 My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, 3 because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.4 Let your patience show itself perfectly in what you do. Then you will be perfect and complete and will have everything you need. 5 But if any of you needs wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous to everyone and will give you wisdom without criticizing you. 6 But when you ask God, you must believe and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown up and down by the wind.7-8 Such doubters are thinking two different things at the same time, and they cannot decide about anything they do. They should not think they will receive anything from the Lord.

So what I am pulling out of this for ME today is faith. Faith and patience. If you’ve read my other blog this morning, you will see why.

So I need to be patient and have faith, that God will take care of us in HIS time. Not mine. (Psst! Hurry up Lord!) <----- Joking.

I believe that He is working in our lives. He is going to get us out of this house and the home He puts us in will be what is best for us. I believe that He will bring me more income (childcare). And I will not doubt. I will stand firm. And hopefully He gives me some peace when it comes to this topic… because I am stressed out to the max!

Here is what I have for today:

Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God

Matthew 5:8

I had a migraine the other night so I went to be super early. I let my son use my laptop. He likes mine more than his. I woke in the morning & got on to check my email… to find that he had changed my cursor. Has anyone ever done this? I used to a few years ago. But I am SO BUSY online that I don’t want my things played with. I was not too happy to see that my “arrow” was now changed into a blinking design. So at first I whined & complained. It’s a bit distracting. But then I sat & watched it. I noticed it blinked 3 times. The first time my cursor was a dove. The second time my cursor was a bible. And the third time my cursor scrolled these words: “God blesses those whose hearts are pure”.

I had to leave it.

I still haven’t been able to bring myself to search Google to see how to un-do this.

This hit me and has stayed with me as a reminder.

Pure in heart.

I want this daily reminder to keep my heart pure.

Monday’s Life In Him–Watchdogs

Happy Monday Everyone!

Then…

Write a post about HIM (Jesus)

Sometimes I just post a verse,
sometimes I share a short story
or sometimes I write a short study.
Either way… Let’s spread His Word and His Love!

Here is what I have for today:

Isaiah 56:10-11

10His watchmen (leaders, preachers) are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

These blind watchmen were preachers, leaders. These watchmen were spiritually ignorant. Due to their ignorance, they led people down the wrong path (spiritually). Instead of acting like faithful watchdogs who are supposed to give warning of the danger (false doctrine) by barking, they don’t give any warning at all. These watchmen (or preachers) were the reason Israel lost her way. Israel forfeited all the great promises because of these “dumb dogs” who did not preach the truth or warn of false doctrine. They were lazy and wasted their lives sleeping. These watchmen (or preachers) were also greedy.

Now fast forward to today.

I don’t mean to be a “Debby-Downer”, but it is my opinion that 95% of all preachers are just like these blind watchmen. They are greedy. They want your money bad enough to preach a watered down version of the truth… which becomes the opposite of truth. It it’s not 100% the gospel of Christ – then it is “another Jesus”.

We need to study. We need to know the whole truth. We need to know when someone is watering down the gospel - changing it.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

And we need to warn! Warn others when there is one who is leading other astray.

If you go to a restaurant and get food poisoning… you warn everyone you know,

“Don’t go to that burger joint on Main Street!!!! You will get SICK!!!”

This is how we should treat the gospel! Warn others of the one’s who are leading people down the wrong path. This is love.

So many of the mega churches today are “preaching” easy going, uplifting messages that makes everyone feel all warm & fuzzy inside. Encouraging and uplifting is wonderful. But sometimes the message of God isn’t all warm and fuzzy. Sin is something that is not taught on today. Sin separates us from God. We need to be warned of sin, and set on the right path. But there are not many preachers today warning of sin. Most ministers of today are only teaching the warm fuzzy part of Jesus…. and leaving out the rest.

Study.

Know the truth. The whole truth.

Monday’s Life In Him – Rainbows!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Then…

Write a post about HIM (Jesus)
Sometimes I just post a verse,
sometimes I share a short story
or sometimes I write a short study.
Either way… Let’s spread His Word and His Love!

Here is what I have for today:

Rainbows:

I just thought I’d point out some interesting rainbows in scripture. Or should I say, ‘lack of’ rainbows…

In Genesis 9:16 God says,

When the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and I will remember the agreement that continues forever between me and every living thing on the earth."

This is because God has already destroyed the Earth twice with floods. Lucifer's Flood & Noah's Flood. So we know that the rainbow is a PROMISE from God.

Now let’s move on to God’s throne:

Rev. 4:3

… All around the throne was a rainbow the color of an emerald.

Here we see our promise from God! All around the throne was a rainbow!!

We are seeing heaven here. Heaven from the inside! Another thing that is amazing to me is the worship that will be going on in heaven! It says:

8“Day and night they never stop saying:
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
He was, he is, and he is coming."

9 These living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever.10 Then the twenty-four elders bow down before the One who sits on the throne, and they worship him who lives forever and ever. They put their crowns down before the throne and say:
11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
    because you made all things.
       Everything existed and was made,
       because you wanted it."

But now a different view of God’s throne:

Rev. 20:11

Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it. Earth and sky ran away from him and disappeared.

Why white? Why no rainbow?

This is the “Great White Throne Judgment” – the time when sinners will come out of hell all stand in front of God to be judged out of “the books”. One book being the “Book of Life”. A saved person (born again, child of God) will have their name written in the Book of Life but a sinner will not. The other books opened will have every single deed recorded in them. Every act, every word spoken, every thought… every single time they were told about Jesus and continued to reject Him. The sinner will be judged according to these books.

Unfortunately these sinners, while standing in front of God, will not see a rainbow. They will not see a rainbow because they have no promise. They never accepted Jesus as their Savior while alive on this side of the grave. They are being judged & sentenced to hell for the rest of eternity. There is no hope for them.

If we keep on reading through verse 15 it says,

“And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”

This is so sad.

This is why we need to be proclaiming the gospel in all we do. We need to lead others to Christ.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" - Mark 16:15

And we need to let our light shine. People should see Christ through us. We may be the only bible some may ever see, so “In all we do, we need to do it for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Now it’s your turn!

Write up your post about Jesus & link up here with us so we can find you! Spread His love!

Here is what I have for today:

Luke 8:43-48

43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”
When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” 46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

This women had this sickness for 12 years & spent all of her life savings on trying to get better.

She had enough faith to go touch Jesus. SHE TOUCHED HIM! She didn’t wait for Him to go to her… SHE went to Him! Just because Jesus is in heaven and we can’t physically SEE him, doesn’t mean WE can’t touch HIM.

And Jesus knew someone had touched Him because He felt the healing power leave Him. Amazing! Jesus still heals today, just go to Him!

The most amazing thing to me about this story is this: In the beginning of this story, she is called “women”. At the end of this story, she is called “DAUGHTER”!!! Jesus said, “Your faith has made you well”. Jesus not only healed her & made her well physically… but he healed her spiritually and made her well.

She is HIS now!! She is a child of God because of her faith!!

Praise God! Praise God! Praise God!

This is one of my favorite stories, I could read it over and over! I had to share this today.

Don’t forget to link up. This way we can visit your blog.

I hope you all have a wonderful week. I am leaving Wednesday for Wisconsin Dells. I can’t wait!

Here is what I have for today

I posted yesterday about our family’s Outdoor Photo Shoot. Since that task was over, today I was able to start looking for Christmas cards for one of the photos. I have 50 free cards coming from Shutterfly for doing a review for them… so I was on my search.

A lot of the cards I could have printed in them anything I wanted. Anything!

I wanted scripture.

I started thinking of all of the typical verses you always see on Christmas cards – but I wanted something different. This is what I found…

Luke 2:10-11

10 The angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I am bringing you good news that will be a great joy to all the people.11 Today your Savior was born in the town of David. He is Christ, the Lord.

That last verse makes me want to jump & shout!

Today your Savior was born!!

He is Christ, the LORD!!

Monday’s Life In Him

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

This is the second week of “Monday’s Life In HIm”

Last week we had only two others link up, I hope to get a few more this week.

“Monday’s Life In Him” can be a verse you want to share or a story or a short study. Whatever you feel that God has put on your heart to share.

There is only one rule to link up,  post my button.

Here is what I have for this week:

Mark 1:1-5

John Prepares for Jesus
1 This is the beginning of the Good News about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, 2 as the prophet Isaiah wrote:
"I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way." — (Malachi 3:1)
3 "This is a voice of one
who calls out in the desert:
'Prepare the way for the Lord.
Make the road straight for him.' " —( Isaiah 40:3)

4 John was baptizing people in the desert and preaching a baptism of changed hearts and lives for the forgiveness of sins.5 All the people from Judea and Jerusalem were going out to him. They confessed their sins and were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

John was to prepare the hearts of the people (Israel) for their Messiah. For hundreds of years the Israelites prayed for the coming of the Messiah and He was finally coming. How tragic that the nation failed to accept Him.

Much like today. Jesus is coming back but He is not accepted by many. Not only is He not accepted, but where are the messengers? Who is preaching repentance? Who is preparing the way?

We need to spread the Word. Mark 16:15 Jesus said to His followers, “Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone”.

We need to prepare the hearts of the people.
